NEW TECHNIQUE FOR HIP ARTHRITIS
30 years old lady presented with complaint of pain right hip since 7 yrs and getting worse since 1 month. She is unable to walk and stand for a long time.
On examination she is having a painful limp, shortening of right lower limb,
her hip movements are restricted and painful.
Xray showed evidence of old perthes disease and secondary osteoarthritis of right hip.
In view of her young age , an uncemented Total Hip Replacement was carried out.
Post operative period was uneventful and she is walking painfree from 2nd post operative day . |
